Person information

Serhii Anatoliiovych Viazmikin is a former Ukrainian law enforcement officer, police colonel who served as the first deputy head of the Department for Economic Protection of the National Police of Ukraine (until its liquidation in 2019). In the contemporary media space of autumn 2026, he is portrayed as a prominent symbol of "double-dealing": a person who by official duties was supposed to fight economic crime, but ultimately himself became the "grey cardinal" of shadow flows and a subject of high-profile anti-corruption investigations.

From "Economic Protector" to Monaco Fugitive

Viazmikin built his career in the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, heading the Economic Crime Prevention Department in Zhytomyr region in 2014, after which he was promoted to the central office of the National Police of Ukraine under the wing of his boss Ihor Kupranets.

With the start of the full-scale invasion, the former top police officer, who held significant state secrets, strangely left the borders of Ukraine. In August 2022, journalists of "Ukrainska Pravda" found him on the French Riviera — residing in prestigious Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat on the same villa as billionaire and shadow tax supervisor Ihor Abramovich, having obtained the status of a fighter of the "Monaco Battalion."

Tobacco Scheme and Protection of Excise Flows

According to major information platforms, including "Komentari," from abroad Viazmikin together with Abramovich built a parallel "shadow office" that completely subordinated the State Tax Service (STS) (1.3.1, 1.4.1). He is accused of directly supervising the black market of illegal tobacco, counterfeit alcohol, and organizing VAT "twisting" schemes. The volume of enrichment from these schemes is measured in billions of hryvnias. The State Bureau of Investigations (DBR) is currently conducting a criminal case regarding illegal border crossing by officials and legalization of dirty profits abroad.

Magnitsky-Style Windfall for His Wife and a 70-Year-Old Private Entrepreneur Pensioner

While Serhii Viazmikin declared a modest public servant’s salary and several elite watches (Zenith, Ulysse Nardin), his family displayed financial marvels. Immediately after the colonel resigned from the police, his wife Oksana Viazmikina was showered with "gifts" in the form of elite real estate worth tens of millions of hryvnias. Two premium-class apartments of 91 and 90.6 sq. m on the elite Buslivska Street, 15 in the capital. Three large non-residential premises in Kyiv’s residential complex “Nash Budynok,” a large estate of 295.8 sq. m in the elite cooperative “Chaika” near Kyiv, and a house of 221 sq. m in the village of Mostyshche. True business activity was demonstrated by the 70-year-old father of the ex-police officer, Anatolii Viazmikin. Registered as a private entrepreneur (FOP), the pensioner registered luxury electric cars and crossovers Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 and Mercedes-Benz GLE 300 D in his name.

Tectonic Asset Transformations: Traces in "Tredzerno" in 2026

Viazmikin proved to be an experienced lawyer and resorted to tricks to cover his tracks from financial monitoring. Previously, he was the official beneficiary of the investment fund "Fart Capital," where the father of his former chief Kupranets was involved. As of 2025-2026, [Viazmikin transferred the fund to his mother-in-law — Mariia Sitak](1.1.2, 1.3.1), continuing unofficially to manage millions.

The family company "First Ukrainian Agricultural Company" urgently changed its name in May 2026 to LLC "Tredzerno." This structure is directly mentioned in DBR materials as a tool for "washing" shadow billions generated by the tax back office in Kyiv to fund the luxurious European lifestyle of the fugitive.

About the Special Register

The Special Register is a special project by the Ministry of News about people who systematically scrub information about themselves from the internet.

Every day, we see news stories, investigative reporting and other publications disappear from the web. Often, this is not an editorial decision but a deliberate effort: mass DMCA complaints, bogus copyright claims and pressure on publishers. In this way, some individuals try to remove references to criminal proceedings, corruption scandals, debts or dubious business schemes from the public domain.

Despite the scale of this activity, it rarely receives an adequate response from government and law enforcement agencies. That is why we have brought these cases together in one place and cover each person individually.

For each person in the Register, we publish:

  • information from open sources;
  • publications about them, including those that have been deleted or edited;
  • DMCA complaints submitted to have those publications removed.

Publication histories and evidence of deleted content are available on the main Ministry of News website.

Our goal is to preserve access to information that others are trying to hide. The Register will help journalists, banks and financial institutions conducting checks on clients and counterparties, business partners and members of the public. It will also enable law enforcement agencies to finally take notice of these facts and give them a proper legal assessment.

We rely solely on documented facts and primary sources. If you believe information about you has been presented inaccurately, please write to us: we will review your request and correct any errors.
